Milly aka Moogie is my second dog, already owning Monty a black cockapoo.
We were looking for a second dog and explored lots of avenues from rescue dogs to another cockapoo. However by chance came across an advert for Milly who was the last of her litter and not sold due to the people wanting her deciding after their holiday not to proceed. So their loss was our gain and we went and collected Milly who was 14 weeks old.
Bringing her home we slowly introduced her to Monty, who at first didn't realise we had another dog in our arms. When he did he was like " Oh my god what is that!!! " He was a bit reluctant to meet her and seem scared , being the big wuss that he is, but after a few days he accepted her into his home.
Now they get on so well, although Milly does rule the roost and is a right bossy knickers. Monty knows his place bless him. Milly is now 3 and Monty 5 and they are a joy to own. Milly is loving and a cuddle monster, but full of bounce and energy and really most people think she is also a cockapoo. She can be a diva at times demanding fusses. If you stop she bashes you with her paw and makes you fuss her even more... or gets close up to your face as to say " fuss me fuss me !! ". Her character makes us laugh... from her avid TV watching, her frog poses and her attention seeking.. to the cuddling up and sheer pleasure of being with you.
Milly entered her first ever Companion dog Show in May 2010, she won prettiest bitch and got a rosette. She then went on to become overall show winner!!! To say I was a proud mummy was an understatement, although Monty was a bit miffed.
Here is her posing in front of her trophy and rosettes. Sadly the trophy had to go back the following year, I could almost hear Monty sniggering in the back ground as her trophy was collected and taken away.
